Question:

My application makes phone calls and send SMS messages? Should we notify users of these potentially billable events?

Answer:

Billable events dialogs are not a mandatory part of the Symbian Signed test criteria. Symbian does however recommend the display of such dialogs as "best practice".

The requirement for such dialogs was removed from test criteria in version v3.0.1, 02-Dec-2007.
